The purpose of the Minister Care Residential Program (MCRP) is to provide a Christian community of support for Louisiana Baptist Convention ministers in transition and Southern Baptist Convention missionaries on stateside assignment, transitioning to a new ministry, or retiring from missionary service.
The MCRP provides housing for up to 12 months on the Monroe campus of Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries (LBCHFM). Apartment assignments are made by LBCHFM and determined by family size and need. Housing is provided at no cost to the minister and family. No rental, utility, or other charges are assessed. Repairs and general maintenance are provided by LBCHFM. Basic television and internet services are also provided at no cost.
Professional Christian counseling is available through Granberry Counseling Centers. Vocational ministry assessments and Christian mentoring are also available.
