Campus Tours

We invite you to visit our beautiful Monroe campus! Church groups (children, youth, senior adults), Sunday School classes, WMU groups, school groups and families are always welcome.

Tours are available year-round, Monday – Friday and the 1st and 3rd Saturdays, at 10:00 AM or 1:30 PM. Tours last 1½ - 2 hours and include our Historical & Archives Center, Frank "Daddy" Flowers Chapel, Brenda Hall Abney Children's Learning Center, Bill & Joyce Quick Food Services Building, and a visit to one of our cottages. Please provide adequate adult chaperones for underage children in your tour group.

To schedule a tour online complete and submit the form on this page or contact Marc Eichelberger at 318.343.2244, ext. 223 or marc@lbch.org.

Saturday Tours: Administrative offices are closed on Saturdays. Tour guides arrive on campus 30 minutes prior to Saturday tour times. Weddings and receptions are often scheduled on Saturdays and may preclude visiting the Chapel and Historical Archives.

Please Note: The Children’s Home is a Foster Care Community. Louisiana Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) policies require that we maintain the confidentiality of the children they place in our care. Please do not take photos or videos of children on our campus.
