Summer 2018 at the Children’s Home has been fantastic! Our children have enjoyed Vacation Bible School, cottage vacations, fun at the pool, and much more.

This week you are providing another special event – All About Kids. College students from Lamplight Ministries will lead our children in a Christian drama and music camp. The theme this year is Master of the Universe, based on Genesis 1:1. On Friday, the children will perform for our staff and guests from the community.

I have to thank our churches and those of you who provided your generous support this summer through the annual Children’s Home Sunday Offering and through your VBS offerings. Your gifts of love are meeting so many important needs for our children.

As we look forward to the rest of this year and beyond, we certainly need your continued prayers and support. We are excited about the opportunities God has provided for us to share His love. Our HomePlace program for homeless children and their mothers is growing and making a significant impact on those families. Christian Women’s Job Corps is helping those mothers move toward independence and faith in the One who can supply all their needs.

Our Granberry Counseling Centers are restoring families and individuals through caring and compassionate counselors. Connect 127 is providing support for couples and churches involved in foster care and adoption ministries.

All of our ministries are made possible because of your generous and faithful support. Thank you so much for meeting needs and changing lives through your special love and care. Until we see you on campus or at your church, may God bless you as you continue to bless His children at your Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
